The back up plan!

Did I tell you about the hair cutting adventure?

Mary Allison's mom and dad came through to pick her up to take her to see her big sister, Elaina ,who is doing an internship at Disney World in Orlando. I digress....

the main point here is that Pammy needed a haircut. She announced, "Would someone please cut my hair. I don't care if they cut it off. I just need it cut."

"Huh? Pardon moi? Did someone say they needed a haircut?"

Enter Mel!

We gather my supplies and head to the balcony! The whole time, Pammy is going on about
"I don't even care what you do. Just cut it off... blah, blah, blah! "

Then we get to the balcony, she is draped, and she says, "You do know what you are doing, don't you?"

To which I reply, "You didnt' say that was a pre-requisite! You just said you needed a haircut."

Miss Thang got all shaky about that point, "But. But. You DO know what you are doing, don't you?"

"Well, no. Not exactly, but I have always wanted to cut hair."

Todd: "And she DID stay in a Holiday Inn last night!" Ha

Long story "short" (ha), Pammy left with LAYERS, a smile, and a very cute new do.

She called me from the road the next day to let me know that she loved her hair. After a wash and a style it was just what she wanted.

So, if this whole "Physical therapy" thing doesnt' work out, looks like I will still have work!!

I am seriously in awe of you and all that you do...you are one very talented woman. You are inspiring! Those around you are blessed.

I can so relate to the first dance class post. I get all mushy with my kids and all of their "milestones". Some think I am crazy...they just don't understand. I am just such a proud Mommy! I own it, and those that don't understand are missing out on soooooo much.

Keep on...

I was in desperate need of a haircut this weekend on the way to the beach. I said I didn't care who cut it or what they did as long as they got it off my neck. I went to Master Cuts and told the lady what I wanted done. Nothing hard. Now, I wish I had just called you. Oh well! The great thing about hair is that it grows back.
