Mary Allison's mom and dad came through to pick her up to take her to see her big sister, Elaina ,who is doing an internship at Disney World in Orlando. I digress....
the main point here is that Pammy needed a haircut. She announced, "Would someone please cut my hair. I don't care if they cut it off. I just need it cut."
"Huh? Pardon moi? Did someone say they needed a haircut?"
We gather my supplies and head to the balcony! The whole time, Pammy is going on about
"I don't even care what you do. Just cut it off... blah, blah, blah! "
Then we get to the balcony, she is draped, and she says, "You do know what you are doing, don't you?"
To which I reply, "You didnt' say that was a pre-requisite! You just said you needed a haircut."
Miss Thang got all shaky about that point, "But. But. You DO know what you are doing, don't you?"
"Well, no. Not exactly, but I have always wanted to cut hair."
Todd: "And she DID stay in a Holiday Inn last night!" Ha
She called me from the road the next day to let me know that she loved her hair. After a wash and a style it was just what she wanted.
So, if this whole "Physical therapy" thing doesnt' work out, looks like I will still have work!!
Seriously, I've never met anyone as talented as you! I can cut hair...my son's and I use a buzzer but would never trust myself to cut with scissors. Way to go, Mel!
Mo you are soo talented!! Are you back on vacation again?:) You have many job options it the PT doesn't work out!! I know who to call the next time I want a hair cut "right now"!!
Mo! You are probably getting very sick of me but have you been getting emails?!
I am seriously in awe of you and all that you do...you are one very talented woman. You are inspiring! Those around you are blessed.
I can so relate to the first dance class post. I get all mushy with my kids and all of their "milestones". Some think I am crazy...they just don't understand. I am just such a proud Mommy! I own it, and those that don't understand are missing out on soooooo much.
Wow, your talents just keep coming out of the woodwork. She looks fabulous. I won't even trim my daughter's hair when she asks me to.
Hope you enjoyed your time here in our great state of WI....have a safe trip home today!
You crack me up every day!!!
I too cut hair, yeah with a #3 comb in the summer and a #4 comb in the winter...buzz buzz buzz as my son would say.
Besides being a multitasker you are multitalented. I love your enthusiasm!
I was in desperate need of a haircut this weekend on the way to the beach. I said I didn't care who cut it or what they did as long as they got it off my neck. I went to Master Cuts and told the lady what I wanted done. Nothing hard. Now, I wish I had just called you. Oh well! The great thing about hair is that it grows back.
