Ulta, artroom, and future John Maxwell coach.

One should know first that Ulta is the ultimate for Ellie!  She thinks she is 16 when she gets to shop in there.  And as a matter of fact, she has requested Ulta gift cards for Christmas this year.  Just cracks me up.  Sooooo, for her eighth birthday, we took her there to have her hair trimmed.  Like in the store, where everyone could see... blah, blah, blah.  She was FEELING it!!
Didn't take long til little sister felt she needed to get in on the action!!
She went through a little phase where this is how she smiled... total upper lip curl. It was sort of a hoot.  I am glad it was short-lived though.
Look at how Gabs is checking out Ellie in that stylist's chair.
And so, well... you know the rest of the story!  Sorry, Polly!  We love you and will be back for the next cut!  This was a rare occurrence.
On another note, I have been intentionally spending more time in my art room lately.  I have been really working on my I Am art journal, as I have witnessed, firsthand, the power of writing down my dreams/ goals.  I am seeing things come to fruition that I wouldn't have really thought possible. (Actually the "old" me wouldn't have.  The new me knows EVERYTHING is possible.)
This was on my photo roll, so, enjoy!
I also started a journal that I had intended to teach in a preteen class.  It was going to be really awesome. But, I didn't have much interest.  I think I might try it at the beginning of the year again.  And... I am planning to do a virtual class, where we are all in a conference room together via telephone.  Who would be interested in that?  I am thinking I'll teach a class on understanding your own gifts/ strengths or maybe one on how to establish your ONE WORD for the year.  Sound interesting?
I want to create another product where each week, we have a discussion, and then I create a video to help you create a journal with art, and authentic journaling to create the life you want.  It works.  Trust me on this!!
Anybody else go on Amazon and buy 9 at a time? Todd Groves is tired of not having one apparently!
Look at this cool kid!  She talks to her friends about John Maxwell as if they are close buds.  Pretty cool, I must say!
Can't start em too young on personal growth, I say!
Have a happy Sunday!

Ellie is so much like her mama! Lol I love those Amazon chargers, the wires can't come out and they're long!
I'm enjoying all of the posts :)

Wow any one of those classes would interest me. I've been really discovering who I am, where my strength lie, and the goals that inspire me in the right direction. Creating journals to inspire me and capture who I am are certainly on my list for 2016.

Love how Ellie continues to capture the aspects of a 'tween' life. I can only imagine the journey you all will experience. Seeing your 'baby' follow in her sisters footstep and join that 'grown up' world is so interesting. They are so different and do similar at the same time. That perfect combination that is a true blessing to a family.

Definitely printing out the stop/start picture for my inspiration board. Thing all of us could benefit for those 'simple' steps

Just wanted to let you know that I have been following for a very long time. Since Jake's time. I have been going through an incredibly hard time with health issues for about the last 3 years and doctors reports were not good at all. I felt like my hope had been taken away. I thought that maybe God was finished with me and I had no more fight left in me. I've been a christian for many years but I was just really tired and frustrated. But recently I decided that I had to begin to fight back harder. I began praying and speaking to my body and my health to line up according to what God said not what any doctor or even myself spoke. In the mist of this someone had talked to me about what I AM meant and I begin thinking about His power to create through His spoken word and right after that I read on one of your post about your I Am journal and I decided to try it. I am now trying to do the journal daily. I have missed a few days but I am feeling better in general and feel hope returning. Sorry to be so long but felt like I need to share with you that this has been such an encouragement to me. I thank you for being faithful and following God's direction. I would so like to be able to attend one of your classes. You are indeed a blessing to many. Your friend even though we've never met Debbie.

I'll be telling the story of my mama's healing soon! Stay tuned! A true miracle!! I'm glad you've realized the power in your mindset and FAITH! God called us to take action toward our faith. That's what you are doing with your journaling. And it certainly seems to be paying off!
