Valentine's Day party

Heeeeyyyy, it's meeee!!  And I am back in blogging action!   I've loaded up pics for the next two weeks, and believe me, they are C.U.T.E.
The pics include Valentine's Day, parties, an awesome trip to Tucson, a Kid Rock concert, and Mardi Gras.
Today's post is all about a Valentine party at Ellie's school.
My mom said I am totally spoiled this year with the over-the-top nature of the parties that are happening in Mrs. Gaskin's classroom.  I told her no way!  If we don't have an awesome room mother like Sarah Moore in our class next year, then I will step up and make it happen! AND I'll have a new kindergartener to boot.
It's always decorated to the nines... for EVERY celebration.
Just look at this cute little classroom! m  Where's Waldo?  I mean, Todd?
My girls were so sugared up, I thought they'd never come down!
They sipped from swirly straws and were told that if their float bubbled then somebody loved them.  Ellie now says, "Somebody is in love with me... remember?  Cause I had bubbles?"
Each kid brought a bag of candy/ goodies for the treatbags AND Valentines for the classmates to put in each others' V Day boxes.

Here's ol Dawson.  He is our neighbor too.  So is Kenner, back there in the green shirt.
My H.I.L.A.R.I.O.U.S crossguard/ sheriff friend, Todd, who gets me out smoothly into traffic every day, was in charge of the check in table, making sure everyone who entered had ID.  It's a new safety precaution at their school.  I wore this nametag through the whole party until someone pointed it out to me.  Haha, so funny, TOOODDD!  We graduated high school together, and were in the same youth group at church, so we go way back!
Since Gabs missed her own party at Miss Donna's, we swung by on the way home to let her get her bag of goodies and Valentines from her friends.

Yep, these girls have enough JUNK to last them the rest of the year.
Stay tuned... my pics are locked and loaded, and I've got stories to tell!

For the record, I am NOT the room mother this year. Sarah Moore is our room mother extraordinaire. But I might have to be next year. (Hope not!), but I'd make a great assistant! ha

very good! I hate that i missed the party. Kenner actually had a red shirt to wear to the party but once it was suggested that it's valentines and he needs to wear red then it was all over...he chose a green angry birds shirt.
