More of the old!

Do you think my "big girl" has always been independent?! I don't think she is even two years old in this picture. Actually, I know she's not.
And she will fight a nap with the best of em! But sometimes she just has to give up and give in! It's rare!! Now, at the ripe ol age of four, she thinks she has WAY outgrown the need for a nap. She is already stressing because I have informed her that kindergarteners DO take naps!! Too bad for her!! Great thing for me!

It is so strange how I can only vaguely remember this phase of my life. Perhaps because indeed it was a whirlwind. But, I don't know about any of you, but as I get older, I am sooooo much worse where my memory is concerned. It boggles my mind... my world! That's actually one of the main reason I needed ORDER this year. I needed to start putting systems in place to find things, remember dates, etc.

It's when I look back at all these old photos that I get really sad that I don't remember much about it. But, lawdy mercy... I have the pictures to document it really happened! Tha's for SHO!!

So many of you have been there with MoJoy since its inception that you probably remember lots of these. This was in the garden at the old house. A little mini photo shoot of Miss Priss in her tutu and boots. As you know, this ol cottage came right on with us to the BAH!

And this little angel has always had a smile the size of Texas and twinkly eyes. She is the happiest little thing.

As promised, I am blogging away, just doing it from the desk at my work. (AWKWARD!). I hope to have a puter by the time the weekend rolls around. I have a group of Texans coming to my house for an art retreat. Hey, Rori! Get your sisters and your mama ready!! We are going to paint our hearts out!!

They grow so fast, don't they?? And I'm with you on the forgetfulness thing... does that go along with parenthood, or what??

Enjoying the pics!

I remember watching those babies grow and wondering how in the world we did it when our two older ones were that age. Crazy times!

I remember all these pictures too! Doesn't seem long ago at all. Those babies are so sweet. I'm with you on the memory thing. Except mine has been like that for a long time. I think my whole adult life has pretty much been a whirlwind, so I guess that's why. I think I'm one year older than you. I worry about myself sometimes. I think it's wonderful that you have all the pictures to document pretty much the girls' whole lives. That's great!
