Ellies Magazine Choices...

I opened my magazine this weekend, something I rarely get to do, but that doesnt' keep me from being totally enthralled at the checkout counter with Demi's meltodown, the Grammy dresses, and now Whitney's passing. And so, I continue to buy the most recent edition of People or Us whenever I see it. Anyway. That's not the story here. This is... Please look closely above... someone, it seems, had already snagged my mag and had circled all her favorite things throughout the whole book.

Including this big, fancy, couture dress.

And when I asked her why she picked this one, she said, "I picked that one for Dad for Christmas.". I KNOW he'll be glad!

And of all these dresses, which did she like the best?!

She is going with Kyra's red hot back/side open number!

She also seems to favor big bottomed, frilly dresses. Like this one...

Oh, Lord. And this one! See that little black circle drawn around this girl? I swear, it was like a scavenger hunt as I turned page after page seeing what it was she'd "chosen".

As I was looking, she went, "Ahhh, MOM! It's Nicki Minaj!" Somehow she'd missed her on the first go round. Since Nicki's exorcism on live tv, I am NOT a fan!! Ecch.

I gotta admit, I was a little confused when I saw this one. She said, "For daddy. So he can
take it to the beach for the boys."Then, she chose many of her gifts for others for V Day.

She said these earrings were for her. As was the necklace.

Oh. This too! But, she's say, "I love daddy".

And how sweet of her... this was chosen for me! WOW. What can I say!??

And it's not hard to believe that she'd choose lipstick and eye shadow. IT wouldn't even really matter the color.

And why I am I also not surprised that she circled this girl!?I did find it interesting that she circled her hiney!?? ANd her high heels!

And finally, she really liked Bella's red hair and "I connected their kiss". OMG!!

My mom was over and I showed her this. She said, "You've done that since I can remember." As I looked at right where I'd been sitting and saw all of these magazine "clippings" I'd recently torn out for ideas or visually interesting things that I may want to integrate into our website, a design, whatever. Soooo....

I guess it's true. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!

My girls and I, hanging out at the kitchen table.

Gabbi, practicing her "G"'s.
And Ellie circling her favorite things in my magazines.
Happy Sunday, y'all!!

That is too cute. I teach preschool and keep thinking they would be so much fun in my class. Great job on the G's too. Thanks for the smiles each morning.

Oh, can't wait to see you in that two piece! Ellie is so thoughtful! How is it that Gabbi is practicing G's...she's supposed to still be a baby. Time is flying.

Love that Ellie is so much like you!

and even though ellie is still very young, it is a good time to teach her about role models and bad behavior! shame on grown ups for making dumb choices that hurt little ones...(i don't know what happened with nm)

Umm. You do realize that the I heart David iPhone cover is my actual phone cover! Emily Tanner called me in a panic saying that US magazine had contacted her about using it for that issue and they needed a large file sent ASAP. She picked it up from me and the rest is history! My phone case is famous! ;) true story
