Tacky Jack's. The secret find!

As the title implies, I have discovered this secret little hole in the wall, about five minutes from the Beach Club, that has G.R.E.A.T food!! And on top of all of this, there is great ambiance. The girls, here, have gone down to feed the fish. This is almost at the TIP of the peninsula which is the sliver of land that separates the Gulf of Mexico from Mobile Bay. Here, you are looking at Mobile Bay.

Because Fort Morgan is about 18 miles or so long, it is a hassle, to some, to go "into" town to get dinner every night. If that is the case, you need to know about this gem. Todd and I have eaten there three times since he's been here! We are kinda in love with the place! And especially their royal reds shrimp. Since we had a party of 24, we had a little wait! But surprisingly not a crazy amount of time. Maybe 20 minutes or so. I was impressed!

And besides, there was something to preoccupy the kiddos, so that is always a plus!

There Mary Allison goes with Gabbi Girl to catch up with Ellie Sue, Emma, and Ana.

And this is Todd dropping quarters down to Ana. You had to have quarters to put in the fish food machine. Todd only had dollar bills, so he had to get change from the restaurant. ANd neither of them wanted to hike the stairs again... sooooo.... I think we lost several quarters, but enough to accomplish a little fish feeding.

As Paula and I TRIED to get a picture together....

Dear Ol Johnnye wouldn't get himself out of the way!

WAIT! There we go! A different angle seemed to crop him right out!

We have so many teenagers with us that it kinda works out when we are out to eat. They want to be separate from us anyway, so we can split up the tables. Of course, Ellie has to be at THAT table! Ok by me!See her by her buddy, Austin?!

And her other buddy, Emma Lou.

and this would be the "no fun" adult table. (or so they think... we'll keep em thinking that!!)

So, I think I am gonna be posting a blog every three hours today. So, comment so we can "communicate"!! If I don't get a move on, I will NEVER post all the pics I have taken and uploaded! Enjoy the insanity of our vacation! I am already getting antsy that I will be going back to my "real life" in only three days. Waaahhhh!!

I am loving these multiple blog days. I know they will soon be gone once you are all introduced to the 'real' world again but lets not think about that. Thinking I'm going have to convince my husband this is a place we need to go. So many go to spots, very laid back atmosphere, and plenty of entertainment for the little (and big) kids. Can't wait to see what other exciting things that have been happy and see some of these family pictures that have been taken. While they not be that 'perfect' picture I'm sure they show a lot of character.

What a large party for a restaurant, but what luck that they could seat you relatively quick. And of course Ellie SHOULD be at the teen table.

Enjoy the remaining days of your vacation. Actually what you refer to as your "normal" life wouldn't be bad to me either.

We love Tacky Jacks! Definetely worth the wait...We always have kids with us so we pick a restaurant that will "entertain " the kids...... Have you made anymore jewelry?
