Gabbi assists in therapy

Seems like we've had a full week of Ellie posts, so it is time for a little Gabbi Lou! As you may or may not have gathered, every Wednesday, Ellie and Maddi go to dancing, and JinJin picks them up and takes them. I can't take my baby girl staying at daycare "by herself" with no other girls, so I just take her with me to therapy in Ruston.
Gabbi seems to love it.
Today was such a day. I let her participate with Mrs. N in Speech Therapy.
Mrs. N needs to learn to use more of her breath to get her words out, so Speech therapy has been using these flutes.
Gabbi thought it was great fun! Mrs. N rarely smiles. It's not that she's not happy, she just has general weakness in her facial muscles.
There's one thing, though, that always gets a grin....
and THIS is her! Mrs. N loves to see Gabbi Girl. I found out that her one and only granddaughter lives in Atlanta and is 2 years old!
I think this is why she has a special affinity for my baby!
Mrs. N is also from Uganda and I have learned so much from her husband, Mr. N regarding their vs our cultures.
Back to Gabbi Girl...
Let me also explain taht she's been on a hat kick. Wants to wear it to bed, to daycare, to the tub, wherever!

And thankfully, she also, unlike someone we all know, still lets me get her dressed in the mornings!!
Wednesdays are mine and Gabbi Lou's special days! Even though they WEAR HER OUT!!

Hi Mo ~ How adorable that Gabbi is! And I LOVE her hat - she looks so cute.
How special that Gabbi gets to spend Wednesday's with you - that must be your favorite day of the week!
Today, I am leaving work early & hanging out with my youngest too (she is 18) and I can't wait. We will go to lunch, get some retail therapy in and just enjoy each other. See, it keeps getting better & better - I told you that a long time ago.
Have a great Thursday,
Diana from Colorado

Precious time that you share your baby girl with others!
Love that outfit. Is it from Stacy's store or can I find it somewhere else?
