Day two: before 9 AM!

The day began like most any.... we easily and readily got Gabbi Girl dressed in her bathing suit.

Complete with matching bow, of course!
She walked around a little, patiently waiting on the rest of the crew, hauling around her blankets.
ANd just plain ol' being cute as ever!
All the while, thinking her sister and babysitter were also in "go" mode.
Sister was in one of MANY of her bathing suit options. (and the one we finally settled on by the way!)
Cousin Maddi has the pink one, so a really, really cute photo op is on the horizon... even if it is out in the parking lot, given the stench of oil in the air today!
But wait. Sitter and Big sister (they need rapper or super model names... let's go super model...
Darla and Natasha.
Well, they had to do a few poses and DANCES first!
I think this is "If you like it, then you shoulda put a ring on it..."
"oh, oh, oh. oh, oh, oh. oh, oh...."

"Ellie, you stop shaking that pelvis RIGHT this minute!"
"If you like it then you shoulda put a ring on it..."

Darla, Natasha. Cut that out!

"Hey, mom, I'll call JInJIn and get her to put a stop to all this nonsense!"
Can you tell my life is one big circus these days?
Ok, for option #2.
If Mary Mallison (that is the new way Ellie says her name) wears a headband, then Ellie Sue thinks she needs one too. Sooo glad I packed them. I have been trying to encourage this for months!
ALthough maybe a little more on her HAIR and less on her forehead!
But you gotta admit, she is ROCKIN' it!

ANd nope, we ain't gonna stop there!
Just one more option.... the light blue ruffled number that is a size 2T and is SUPPOSED to be Gabbi's new suit!

Don't you EVEN think Ellie isn't going to try and wear every single one of Gabbi Girls' bathing suits while we are here.

And I don't know how it happened, but she got her mom's hoarding gene. Anything she sees that Gabbi has that used to be hers, she has to put on and PROVE to me that it still fits her. Regardless of how high watered, tight, short, or ridiculous it looks.
That's my kid.
The whole crew showed up today, so we have fun pics of the three girls in the pool together. Looking forward to this family time.
Mocephus.

Enjoy your time at the beach. I hate that the oil has hit! Looks like we'll be canceling our plans.

funny you blame Ellie for havin the hoarding gene like you, when you must be the buyer lol I soo wish my girls were little again I was just as bad! I'm paying for it too! They still have to have at least 3 new swim suits every year and now I have gotten the new grandbaby 4 already!
So sad about the oil!
