Name the shirt

I have been thinking about this shirt idea.
I have a few ideas.

But, I bet there are lots of ideas out there too!

I need to put my name on the back, "MMPT mission is to Joyfully use our gifts to brighten the lives of others." But...

What for the front?

Come up with the winning idea and I will not only send you a shirt, but a little prize with it!

Remember it is to help people who can't get therapy, get therapy!

Mo

If you have no idea what I am talking about... read the next post!

Hi Mo ~ Uggggh.....I am so uncreative (I think I have mentioned that in the past) but anyway, how about two figures and one is throwing a ball (which is a ray of sunshine)towards the other figure. Also, please count me in for a donation, I'd be glad to.
Did you have a busy weekend packing? It sure is getting close - I'm even excited!!!
Have a wonderful Monday. Diana from Colorado

On the front you could put the image from your site of the three kids and the green ball and on the back in quotes... "We joyfully use our gifts to brighten the lives of others." and sign it MMPT.

Mo:

You don't know me, but I read your blog regularly and followed Jake's story. I worked for ALSAC and have an idea for your funding dilemma. You could start a scholarship that would provide care for children regardless of their families' ability to pay. Fundraisers could be held at different times throughout the year in addition to selling t-shirts. You could also give the option to donate to the scholarship to clients who may be able to afford to donate something in addition to what they pay for their childrens' therapy. Even though you are a for-profit company, the scholarship fund could be set up in some type of trust that earned interest. Just a few thoughts! I'm sure your services are in great demand - my son has a learning disability (auditory procesing disorder that also affects his gross motor skills) and I've learned the hard way how difficult it is to find the "right" care for your child!

I don't have any idea for the t-shirt, but I know I have mentioned before my son has special needs and I so wish we lived closer so we could participate in MMPT!!! Keep up the good work MO!!

idea#1
You Are My Sunshine
(goes along with the brighten the lives of others...a great theme for this time of year and a great unisex theme)

idea#2
All the Children of the World

I think it should be a sunshine with kids playing in a park. Ring around the rosy or a playground area with just kids running around.

I loved your post from yesterday. I'm a special needs aide and I love my job. I'm subbing now because I had to give up my FT position when I was diagnosed with cancer in 2007. I've been in remission for 7 months now. I've always said they are called special needs children beacause they are SPECIAL! My idea is to have a picture of some of your special needs children on the front and the quote would be "Special needs are special gifts" or "Special gifts come from special needs".
I admire the work you do.

Hi-
I love Diana's idea about the rainbow. I think it is just such a fabulous idea that I can't think of anything that would top that. My 15 yr. old niece has has PT and OT for many years for her developmental delays. She has always had great care and I think every child deserves the talents MMPT has to offer. I know Mo is an artist and I don't know what you want to do for your shirts but as another artist I would love to offer my artistic skills for this project. I have done many t shirt logos and I would love to help out on this one!

Ok it only took my what 6 hours from my first post, but how about
"We're all Human Hand in Hand"

I love watching my son in his classroom, he has the best friends that see him no different than anyone else. Ok so when they work on letters and numbers Carson works on matching something or coloring. On the playground they play with Carson while he is in his wheelchair no different than the other kids running around. Too bad adults can't all be like that too!!

You could have gift boxes on the front of the shirt, with each box listing a gift MMPT uses to brighten those lives!

Sorry I've been away so long...I'm back now, though. ;-)

How about "Got Therapy?"

P.S. I forgot to give you the slogan:

The gift that keeps on giving...

How about a big sun with the silouette of a little one holding up their first finger and the words "Helping little lights to shine" or "helping little lights shine brighter". - kind of a reference to this little light of mine.

Love the simple "Got Therapy"!!

I am going to say the heart with wings (with a little word believe in the heart) cradled in the palm of a hand. "Carry their love in your heart"

ok so i don't know how to illustrate this, but here is my idea. i love 1corinthians 13.13 and i think your company demonstrates that wonderfully! somehow you, with your beautiful artistic talent, could illustrate faith, hope and love and the greatest of these is LOVE! because i know, as a patient, you have a lot of love for your patients and for your company!
whatever you decide, i need a small or medium! HA!

I think a simple front pocket like design (you know....without the pocket) would be simple and wouldn't take away from the awesomeness on the back.

You could have a simple verse like "It is more blessed to give than to receive" Acts 20:35

Ok so I have read your blog for a very long time and have NEVER posted!! But I love the fundraiser idea!!

The tshirt on the top would say "Got Therapy?"

then below that somewhere it would say "We do!" Physical, Occupational, Speech (and add others if there are others) then below there say "The proceeds from the sale of this shirt goes to help someone get it too!"

Thanks for sharing your life with us!!
