On the road again. Tucson 2010.

WHAT's the deal? I mean, a fabulous Valentine party, and only two comments?! Come on, peeps. Little support here. Amy and Lori, you are both getting surprises! Send me your address via email (I will see you, Lori!) and I will make sure you get a "Thank you for commenting" gift. Sara, I STILL owe you one! I haven't forgotten.

Ok, onto the next adventure....
Staci and I are in Tucson, AZ. At the annual International gem and mineral show. Or, as Staci and I call it, the BEAD SHOW!!!
Oh, man, it is so overwhelming!
As far as the eye can see!
This is a killer necklace! I plan on making it tonight.
I like to see how the trends are changing each year. Copper and brass are big time. So is black gunmetal. Sterling is still hot, but now isnt' the only player!
This lady had to take her dog out to potty and I volunteered to man her booth. Staci came up about that time and laughed to know that I was in charge of the booth. She took my picture as I pretended to be a super hero.
Oh yeah, baby. I am making this one too!
First night's purchases. Get ready, Etsy. I am about to have a heyday and there is going to be all kinds of jewelry to be had. My creative juices are FLOWING!!
Day two (that'd be today!):
Staci and I were first in line. The doors weren't even open yet.
And I don't remember who, but one of my sweet bloggers turned me onto this tee shirt she found online.
You KNOW I had to have it!
More awesomeness.
Pearls in every size, shape, color.
Ok, gotta go. Staci and I also bought some of this fun ribbon (oh wait, I meant, "hand-dyed silk ties") and want to make things like THIS tonight.
MO

Okay...don't fall over or anything, but I got a little creative recently...once in November and again in December...quit laughing at me. I know I'm pathetic! lol

Yep, I went to the Bead Bar in Gatlinburg, TN. Made a coupla pair of earrings each time, all while under the guidance of the owner. I can't think of designs of my own, but I'm really good at copying someone else's! ;-)

You and Staci have fun...I'm looking forward to seeing your new creations!

Can you tell us what the shirt says? I can not really read the words.

The place looks awesome. But, I would just have to add to the list of things I can not find time to get done.

Hi Mo ~ LOVE the t shirt!!! You & Stacy look like your having soooo much fun - how great is that? I also love the hand dyed silk ties - I never saw them before - really cute. Enjoy the rest of your time there & have a safe trip back home. Diana from Colorado

Okay - so the "no party commenting"...maybe I was a jealous Californian who always reads about your FUN and ADVENTURE... yeah, that's the ticket! I had some green envy going on...

Looks like a lot of fun that you are having at the "diamond and sparkle show." I can't wait to see the creations that you will be making on your Etsy site...

Enjoy the time!

I just got the Pottery Barn February catalog and thought of you. The theme is nest at home. There's a pillow that has the definition of nest on it and a unique nest light fixture.
