Trick or Treating on in the 'hood.

First things first... don't we mamas just LOVE the cool things our kids bring home from school for the holidays.   Even just plain ol' rocks make cool art projects.
So, we had our "real" trick or treating experience in the neighborhood after all.  Even though horrible weather was actually predicted!!

And this year, sadly for my tween, Ellie, Emma Lou had a junior high get together, and poor ol Ellie had to go trick or treating with good ol mom and dad.
And even then, we only hit one measly old street!
It's a wee bit sad when my babies are so willing to just head right up to those doors all by themselves.  They kinda don't need me anymore.
Surprisingly, Gabbi was braver than Ellie Sue.
There were times that they actually let me stay all the way on the road in the golf cart with their daddy.

This crazy neighbor, (TIM O'NEAL!!), was dressed like a pro wrestler!!   He is a nut!
And I just couldn't believe how many people weren't home.  My poor babies!!  But then again, I had the front of the neighborhood which I totally avoided!!
Our neighborhood is the CITY's go-to trick or treating neighborhood!  But, it is in the front on the neighborhood.  We live in the back.  ANd that is where I choose to stay and trick or treat!  (Look at those heels on Gabs!!)
It was interesting that Miss Priss didn't really even want to fully finish the road.  She was WAAAY too worried about what the junior high kids were doing back at the Fords.

This sweet baby girl just wanted to be wherever her mama was.  And that is how it is all the time!
Did I mention that their school said no costumes.  So , we put on our jack-o'-lantern tees and DEFINITELY added some eye tatts!
 Rockin those eye tatts!
I could just eat these babies up.  I am trying to totally enjoy and soak up everything about having baby girls.  They're now 5 and 6, so I'm just trying to relish them!!

No costumes at our schools either. This year we couldn't even bring treats for the "fall party". They had the food service people at school cater the party with healthy snacks. :(

I forgot to mention how cute your girls are, and the golf cart is a great way to trick-or-treat!
