Ellie Sue... one-of-a-kind.

My kid is a hoot.  We got her an ipod for her birthday this year.  Because of that, she has an email account we used to set up the phone. I say "we" very loosely. I don't actually handle any of the electronics, computery stuff, etc.   Anyway, with that email account, she was able to set up her own instagram account.  (Yes,really!!)  Her photos that are posted are so random!  a turtle, a frog, her sister.....And the above photo was one of her instagram missions!
She L.O.V.E.S being in my artroom.  I mean, like a LOT. Problem is, she doesn't clean up after herself.  I think she only ruined SEVEN of my brushes this week.  I've been threatening with a lock and key for a while now, but in all honesty, that might pain me more than her!  I mean, punishing my kid by blocking her creativity.  That's just harsh!  (but may become necessary!)
Another area in the house which may soon be locked is the fingernail polish cabinet.  Can I get a witness?!   She did hers and Gabbis toes for the LSU game.  And they looked pretty good if I am telling the truth. HOwever....
her thinking I might let THESE nails slide by was insane.
And lastly, it is hard to believe that Ellie is in her THIRD year of dancing this year!  These little girls have been together for three years.  I suspect we'll be watching them in the Twin City Ballet Company some day when they are all in junior high and high school.

That Ellie Sue is a hoot! More and more, I see examples of kids teaching parents about the world of technology.

Hahaha! It probably wouldn't take long with the "lock and key" thing before she started remembering to clean up, so you wouldn't be stifling her creativity but for a short time.. I think.. :) I do love her art!
