Doesn't it seem like just yesterday that this little squirrel was coming home with me from the hospital!? I was toting her, and her daddy was toting her 13 month old sister! I do! I was thinking WHAT HAVE I DONE!? I was in crazy mama overload?! But that baby loved to be swaddled and cuddled, and has been since the day I brought her home, a bit of sunshine to everyone she encounters.
And now she's a big kindergartener! She LOVES going to school. (I'm told her big sister sticks very close to her on the playground and is always "looking out" for her.) She loves animals, and is particularly fond of her cat, Twilight Sparkles. She is an artist. Unique and intentional with her paint strokes. She is a mama's girl through and through. She is just beginning to like to choose her clothes, and high heels are among her favorites! She has been requesting no bow (WHAT?!) and her hair to be pulled back in a clip like all those tweens who hang out next door.
Lucky for her after this incident, we still have that option! The obligatory "do it yourself" haircut it seems most little girls feel the need to explore.
Gabs loves to swim, and this includes in the tub... She loves movies, at present her faves are Tangled, Rio, Mulan, and she loves Tinkerbell (and Tinkerbell's sister). She'll eat most anything, but especially loves pepperoni pizza. She just had her first friend, Anna Beth, from her kindergarten class, over to visit for the whole day.
She is a ray of sunshine. She is joy. And I am so blessed to get to be her mama!
