Dream Store

What's up people?  55 comments on day 1 of questioning and 14 on day 2.  Show me some love!

Sounded like Reese Witherspoon was a popular choice to play the role of your life, and I definitely like her, because she's a southern gal!

So today, our question is: If for one month you had to live day and night in one retail store, what would it be?

Mine would be Hobby Lobby.  Micheal's might be a good second, but Hobby Lobby has more housewares so I could decorate my space.  They both have sewing machines, so I could improve my sewing skills.  Hobby Lobby has more fabric and trims for my sewing projects.

Of course there's a scrapbook section and that would take up a good solid week.  And big wide glass front windows so I could wave at my family, and of course I would be making holiday projects for each of their classes and probably my patients since Hobby Lobby has an awesome holiday section.

They sell candy near the checkout so I'm good on food.  And OMG, the mere thought of what I could do with paint pens and all of the blank surfaces in that store!  The more I think about it, I kinda wish I could spend one month in Hobby Lobby!

I asked a few people from the Ruston office what their answers would be: Jessi says Target, KK says Ulta, and Tiffany says  Macy's.

So, what's your answer??

Wow, you've really sold me on Hobby Lobby, but they don't have them where I live. I was going to say Target, because they would have everything I needed, but I'm also kind of thinking Ikea... they have tons of fun stuff and a different living room/bedroom/kitchen set up for everyday of the week.
I'd probably still stick with Target though, because they would have the music, books, and movies I'd end up entertaining myself with.
Thank goodness they don't sell treadmills, so I won't have to create an excuse about why I didn't use it!

Well, I'm going with you and say Hobby Lobby. I'd always hear of them and be like what's that. Now, while I don't have one right here I have one on the way to my daughters college. Can you say addicted! I'm like, oh no worries, honey I'll bring Jess back...aka a trip to Hobby Lobby. However, this whole being closed on Sunday thing isn't working for me since mostly we bring her back on a Sunday. I think its a good thing they do, however, it is not beneficial to me. My close second would be a world market, not that i've ever been in one, but I see mercanside on blogs and I know I'd love that store!!!!

Well my very first thought was Trader Joe's, but I don't know what I would do there for a whole month. You can only eat and drink wine for so long. So I will go with Costco. They usually have some display furniture tv/ipad/food/wine/books...I could be happy there for a month!!

Hobby Lobby is at the top but I'd pick Target so I can become more familiar with foods too! Haha

Decorations, clothes, kid stuff, oh and music! Yeah, Target ;)

Super Target! The benefit of the store AND full-grocery section :)

Maybe The Music Man (Lavallette NJ) - ice cream and talented young performers - thus food and entertainment for a month, or (if this counts) Japanese Pavilion store/restaurant at Epcot, or The Container Store (but would need some food!)

First thought was Ikea. But, might have to change that to Sams. Plenty of reading material, office supplies for basic art supplies, exercise and sports equipment for a distraction and plenty of cameras, TV's, computers, along with movies and vireo games!

Mine would be Barnes and Noble - they have some comfy chairs and many have a Starbucks or some sort of cafe inside.

I would have to say Sam's.. they have chairs, beds, food, books, televisions, all kinds of electronics, clothes. Our Sam's is HUGE with an awesome bakery, deli, etc. Speaking of, I think we need to go tomorrow, but hope we don't have to stay but an hour or so!

Barnes and Noble it is! Tons of books, a month to do nothing but read, and good coffee to boot. Sounds like a winner to me.

Walmart is the only store that I could live in for a month, although I'd make Target work, too.

Definitely Hobby Lobby. I'm headed there today as a matter of fact!
This may change by the end of today, since we're taking a road trip to Ikea - my very first time setting foot in an Ikea - I'm super excited!
I'm loving this interactive blogging you're doing.

It would be Joann's. Don't have enought time to quilt and that is what I really want to get better at.. fabric, tools, machines and when I get totally frustrated with quilting I can head to the yarn and knit to calm me back to normal.
