First day of Kindergarten!!

This was Ellie's expression when I told her she would be staying at school the whole day.  As in we'll see ya around three!
Does she LOOK concerned at all?!  And every day I ask her to tell me about her day.
So far, I only know that Isabella and Avery both had on little 'light jackets over cute little tops".  I mean it.  She cant tell me a single thing she learned, but the kid can tell me what everyone in the class was wearing!
We got up bright and early, kissed everyone goodbye and headed to car drop off/ pick up line!
Even this morning, she didnt' feel she was ready to find her class, so I had to walk her all the way in and to her classroom.   I kinda think she'll be ready to try it alone next trip.
I can't believe the day has come.  I was just remniscing about my two little babies.  Gabbi about 8 months old, and Elle 21 months, and we were all at thee beach.  I look back and remember those days fondly, but I tend to think in the present.  And for NOW, I am so glad Ellie got a good teacher, she loves school (so far), and God blessed me with such a great kid!
And  I look forward to sharing the escapades of kindergarten with you weekly!!

bring on all the kindergarten fun! as social and outgoing as ellie is she will love school.

i think gg will benefit from ellie going first. my daughter was more outgoing and my son was painfully shy. but the two years they are apart allowed jonathan to get to know all the teachers and he went with me to volunteer at school a lot, so he had a way to ease his fears by going at it slowly. i think gg won't be as interested until she catches ellie's excitement.

i hope maddi is having a great kindergarten experience too! let's see an update about the whole raborn/massey clan!!!

To be a fly on the wall and hear that girl talk about Kindergarten fashion. I bet that's hillarious. They grow up waaaay to fast.

Love the outfit, love the excitement and attitude and love hearing all the school stories. I miss those days with my girls - so, you are correct, live and love the moment you are in because they are fleeting.

How exciting for Ellie to be starting kindergarten! This year my boys are in 4th, 3rd, 1st and preschool. Next year is the big year I drop them all off and have quiet time from 9am-3pm!!! Ellie looks adorable and I can't wait to hear more about her year in the big school and more adventures with sweet Gabby girl, too!

blessings,
