LOVIN the tea set!!

My Gabbi Girl is my girly girl. She likes all things "little girl". And that includes her new tea set. And by tea set, I also mean teaset. I don't feel like looking it up to see which it is, so let's assume for sake of fun that it is tea set. K? K. Now that we have that straight....

Kimie takes china painting, and when Ellie was a tiny tot, she made her a custom tea set of real china. So, naturally, she felt Gabs needed her own set too. It's just the kind of gift that a mom loves and hates all at the same time. It's super special, but...

it's also super breakable!!

I decided to let her play with it, though, when she asks for it. And she asked for it on Saturday. Kimie said she'd replace anything we broke anyway! So, we got out the graham crackers and diet coke and went to town.

It was fun to actually put a real drink in the pitcher.

And Lizzie just hung around thinking we were the weirdos we all really are. It's fun to have a sweet dog in the fam who just wants to be with the girls, and lay around and be a supporter. Not so much an engager. We love that girl. And we love teasets!!

I actually remember some of my tea sets oh so many years ago. Always loved my doll house and tea sets. Your babies are making those memories Mo...

Mo, I still have my tea set, made of real china (blue and white). Many hours of entertainment were had with that little set. Saving it for my 15 yr.old granddaughter so if she ever has a little girl, it can be passed on to her. Thanks for the memories this morning.....huggers, BJ

A girl and her teaset!!! Oh do I remember those days!! Bre got a teaset LAST birthday and we have YET to open it! A dainty little China teaset w/tinkerbell on it! I put it away until later and this post reminds me, we need to "break" it in (no pun intended)! Happy Art Retreat Weekend Ladies!!!

Hi Mo ~ How sweet is that! I remember my girls & I having tea parties - good memories for sure. That Gabbi is such a sweetie (and of course Ellie too - that goes without saying) she just looks so cute with her little tea set. I love it.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Diana from Colorado

Mo, I haven't commented in a while, but I still read ALL your posts! Love the tea set. Gabbi is the most precious little thing! I just wanted to say that I hope ya'll have a wonderful time this weekend, and I SO wish I was gonna be there. I am definitely coming to one of your retreats. Maybe if you do another in the fall :) I've got to meet you some time or another, since I feel like I've known you for so long!
