Our fancy new pool!

I don't mean to brag, but we installed a new pool recently. It goes nicely with our burned up deck! The girls think it is awesome, no matter what size it is.

They actually LOVE that they don't have to wear floaties or a ring in it, and they can play relatively unsupervised. And by unsupervised, I mean not necessarily IN the pool with them.

Ellie has this other new toy that she thinks is the bomb.com.

And if I get my hands on the person who bought it for her, I may choke them!

She has absolutely no concept that she shouldn't come up and squirt you right in the face. Namely, that is the case because when she did it to Todd, I could NOT contain my laughter. Then, as I sat there totally unassuming, and totally dressed, and she soaked me in my chest/ belly, Todd couldn't stop laughing. We are definitely sending mixed signals!

And then came time for sweet revenge!

Gabbi doesn't even know what she's running from. She's just running. Like Forrest Gump....
"I am runnnnnnning."

Ellie looked for refuge from every angle.

That sucker can reach about 15 feet!

And sorry Ellie, but I am rooting for daddy on this one. Look at her thinking she is being all sly as he looks away, possibly just putting up a decoy!

And then she reared her mean ol head, and Daddy attacked!

She squealed with delight!! And then the sucker TURNED On me! He gave the water gun to the enemy! So she could give me an enema!

Etu Brute? Etu?!

Once again, mixed signals.... as I scream, "Ellie, I have my camera!!", Todd is cheering her on, "GO get mama. Go get her, Ellie."

I may have to have that fancy pool removed!

Looks like you all had a blast. It was only nice here for a week and now it's back to being cold. I sure hope summer gets here so we can enjoy some outdoor fun. Gabbi and Ellie sure do have some great parents.

If you want to payback whoever gave her the water gun....give them the colored bubbles! I bought two of each color for my daughter's birthday party only to realize they are not very washable! And they are a sticky mess! The pool looks like fun!

p.s.. my sister had on white pants....not so white anymore!

Haha! Kids are pretty easily pleased at that age as long as it holds water!
