Helpers at the BAH

Ok, let's just take a few peeks around the new house. These are the brown bookshelves in our dining room which can not receive their second coat of paint because they are now loaded with books because I am extremely impatient! I almost got that way with the girls' rooms. I decided last minute to shove everything I had moved into their closets so the peeps can do a second coat on trim, clean, or whatever I would have been prohibiting them from doing.
This is the den area. I am not sure if I have ever shown you a view from the fireplace side of the room. But, this is it! Up there, behid the railing, is where I envision art retreaters being served after Susan (from blog) making a little appetizer tray to serve to all those who are in for the weekend for an art retreat. Just sayin'!
And may I just say I LOVE my Pottery Barn chandelier. Need I say it reminded me of a nest?!

These two are about ready to move too. Poor kids have to hang out there every evening after work. (Gabbi colored on the patio out there with a royal blue marker... don't tell Dad!)
And this is the view looking INTO Todd's gameroom from the hall between kitchen and basically, outdoor kitchen area. See that window? It opens completely, like a pocket door, into the wall for serving folks outside. That black bar on the back wall is to mount a tv to. Todd Groves be LOVING his bar!!
And Ellie Susanne be LOVING her neighborhood "big girls" frands!
My sweet little Mary Allison took a whole day of her three day weekend to help me clean and ready my artroom cabinets for move in. Thank you, MA. YOu love me, you really love me!
Jin Jin REALLY REALLY REALLY loves me too! She came in from a weekend at the lake to help me manage two very impatient and needy little toddlers so I could get some work done. When they were preoccupied, she also helped clean and ready the cabinets for all our gear.
And lo and behold, would you look who the cat drug in?! He lives NEXT DOOR and had not seen the inside of the house in 6 months. WHAT HAPPENED?!
Got more pics of the BAH coming in the next two days. Stay tuned.

You need these coasters from Target that have nests on them. To bad they don't have the dinnerware to match. http://www.target.com/dp/B003P5DDJM/ref=sc_qi_emwa_B003P5DDJM

Gorgeous house! I am so glad you have taken the leap and are moving in - take it slowly, if you can, and I am glad you have such great helpers. The chandelier is awesome. You could be a decorator - along with everything else you do!
