Happy Valentine's Day to our Daddy.

Ok, you know I am a big fan of Etsy! Right? And you know I always prefer things handmade when possible.
So, it is only normal that I would be looking on there for Todd's Valentine's present.

And are you ready for what I found?!

I present to you.... THE GROVES FAMILY!

This is Todd and Melanie, aka "Dad and Mom".
Green eyes for Todd and blue for me. Goatee, LSU jersey, funky tights, all pretty much accurate! (Todd says my boobs could have been a little bigger!)

And the kidlets... Ellie Sue and Gabbi Lou!
The Indigo Twins, who made these for me were really cool to work with, because I would look at their initial sketch and say, "No, actually, Todd's hair is a little longer. And no, Ellie wouldn't really wear that girly girly dress. Make it a little funkier, please. How bout a petticoat? and maybe some polka dots? Oh, and Gabbi's hair is more of a bob. Can I send you some pictures? " Etc. Etc and so forth. My point being that they really listened to me and, I believe, got it perfect!
In Todd's new gameroom, we are expecting a nice purple hue for the walls. They already have a complete stone stacked wall, and his cabinets are already installed. I thought he might like to have this in his collection of all things purple and gold. He loved it!
But, why oh why, didn't I think about an "11" on the back!? Did I fall and hit my head?!

Well, here we are saying, "Goodbye". and if you want the info on how to order your own...
here you go....Indigo Twins at Etsy. I am telling you, for a very unique gift, this is it!

Oh, and even better news... I am getting together a list of artists that I think do unique arts and asking them to come down to my retreat. You know that retreat that I don't have dates for yet, (hey, it starts as an acorn and grows into an oak, right?), but that I KNOW will happen. The Indigo Twins are getting me info and I am telling them I will have a place for them to stay.
SURELY the BAH will be ready by fall! I think learning this clay craft will be the bomb.com!

More Valentine's coming your way. It was a big day at the Groves house!
