Back to the girlies

Well, I guess you have seen enough of my house. And are some of you still wondering what BAH means? If so, check the comments, Kim cleared that up for you.

So, let's take a look at a few average days around the Groves house the past few days. Gabbi Girl is getting big! She looks so cute, to me, in a ponytail.
The problem is, she won't wear her ponytail for more than about 5 minutes. She pulls that sucker out lickety split. But for those five minutes, she is precious! Oh, who am I kidding, she is always precious!

Ellie rarely lets me help her look cute anymore. She is all about dressing herself. This shirt, which I think is an 18 month PJ top, should be going to Gabbi. But, Ellie screams "That's mine!!!" when she sees Gabbi in a hand-me-down lately.
Ellie put this whole outfit together alone. I know that shocks you!
Those may actually be 12 month pants! Hotsy Totsy!

I think I have mentioned this, but when someone meets Ellie in person, they are always surprised at how small she is. I think, because she always looks bigger than Gabbi, it is assumed she is "big". She is not. She is a shrimp! She is about 2" shorter than Maddi, who is actually younger than her. And Gabbi Girl is already in 24 month clothes. Ellie is still 2T. So, her little sister is a year younger than her and is catching up with her quickly!
And like clockwork, she always remembers her "bow". Now, it is usually just smack on the top of her head. But still...
Gabbi's pants are actually 24 months, and they look like hot pants!
What can I say about it? Baby got BACK!
And baby also LOVES to wear boots!
Have I mentioned her new words lately?
Dora, Boots, Backpack, NO!, Earl, Ba"nana", "mnmnmnmnms", down, up, "dink", "side", and she is very, very good at "MA-MA!!"

Love love love the ponytail on GG! I always wanted a dark haired little girl. I love my blondies, but there is something so beautiful about dark hair.

Ellie as usual cracks me up. Love the independence that comes with being 2.

GG's pony tail is just too stinkin' cute. And Ellie's fashion sense is really right on target. Hey, she's has the right to choose her own wardrobe in whatever color pallete she wants!! She's what you call "a free spirit."
Thanks for sharing the girlies with us. They just make me smile every day!! Have an awesome weekend.

Hi Mo
I just looked at the clock and it was 11:11. It made me think of Little Jake. Thanks for letting us watch your girls. Your house is going to be wonderful.

Melanie, Your gilrs are so cutalicious!!!! I really wish that I could teach Ellie in Kindergarten! Maybe you need to let me home school her! Just kidding! I am soo excited about winning the necklace! Everyone at school can not wait to see it! I want one of those silk ties with charms. I wear all colors except yellow and orange. I love crosses and fleur de lis. Does that give you enough to create something? If not just email me at hoogland@opsb.net or kshoogland@comcast.net or text me at 614-3617. Thanks again! I love reading your blog everyday. i can not wait to see your house in person. Sign me up for wone of the retreats! I am ready!!!

Love seeing pics of the girlies, and love seeing pics of the BAH!! What do the girls think of the house? Obviously, Ellie has decided that she doesn't want her room to be pink, but is she excited that she will have a new house next to Maddie? I really really really want to come to a retreat!!!

Ok, so I did a double take....at first glance I thought you had installed a pole in your kitchen...upon closer inspection I realized it was a golf club!!

Too cute! Loved the photos. Ellie's outfits always crack me up. Come on. You know you really wish that as adults we felt free enough to occasionally dress like we were her age and just starting to dress ourselves. :)

I love the pics of the girlies that show their little personalities. My daughter that is now 16 used to look like a little bag lady when she was a toddler. She dressed herself and usually had a hat or something else on her head and a bag full of goodies. She even dressed her little brother in her princess dresses! Enjoy your little sweeties and their funny habits, cause before you know it you will be buying them cell phones and cars instead of bracelets and hairbows!

Watching you with your family - especially the girls is better than any movie. I love the expressions on their faces and their little personalities. All children should be so blessed. I haven't posted much..ok..hardly at all, but I don't miss a morning reading about your fam. It is hard to start your morning in a bad mood when you see your babies. I Love Your new home and can't wait to walk thru another new beginning with all of you. WOW...Oscar winner!
