It is cold in Louisiana!

I truly do have so much to share about our incredible weekend at St. Jude. Welll, actually, in Memphis, since I STILL haven't been back to St. Jude since 2006 when Jake left for home for the last time. But... until I get all those pictures organized and such, let me just share a little bit from my day today.

Since it is a Sunday, I have a standing appointment with Mary Allison! And because my girls LOVE this front porch swing, and because it is FREEZING here, I sent the babysitter out to swing with them!
Gabbi Girl made herself a nest and was really chilling with the swinging.
Ellie never chills! EVER!
This little messy face is due to pizza we had just eaten! But would you look at that fifth tooth coming in on the top floor?! That poor kid is getting them ALLLLLL at once, I think!
I will be sharing more on the marathon weekend tomorrow! Thanks for reading. ANd how bout a few comments today?! Huh? Huh? HUh?!

Yeah, I guess it's about time I left y'all a comment... I've been lurking for days now.
Your girls look sooooo cute all bundled up on the porch swing. How neat to be able to enjoy being outside even when it's bone cold.
I really look forward to seeing your pics from the weekend in Memphis.
Big hugs, Denise, xoxo

Absolutely precious! Couldn't you just snuggle right in there with them?
It's cold here too. The forecast says we'll have 8-12 inches of snow by Wednesday afternoon!
Looking forward to your Memphis pics.
Happy Monday!

Ask and you shall receive! Ha...well, I wanted to let you know that I still just love love love my canvass/painting! I mean, it still isn't ON the wall yet (unless leaning against one counts) But I think I have found which wall will house this beautiful piece of art! I just wanted to say thank you!

Also, the girlies are so adorable. I enjoy every picture (and your stories in between!) Thank you for sharing your family!

Hugs from Missouri

Hi Melonie. Brandon and Amber were here last week and Amber hooked me up with your blog. The girls are adorable. Love seeing pics of your blessings! Thought of you all Saturday while you were in Memphis raising money to help defeat that horrible old "C." Will be checking your blog often. (Brandon's mom)

The poeple in the North probably think us southerners are plum crazy when we say it's cold or freezing--but it WAS cold and FREEZING this weekend in South Louisiana. Mary Allison and your girls look so comfy on that swing. Looking forward to hearing about Memphis.

Hey Mo, I'm sure it is cold there, but we are supposed to get 12" of snow by Wednesday morning...that's on top of the 3" we already have from yesterday. Why do I live in Nebraska?? I hate snow! I'll have to ponder that!! Until I come up with an answer...love you blog, love looking at your pictures and your art!!! Hugs!

Hooray for getting the kids outside! When my sister, brother, and I were little, we went through a winter when we got sick a lot.

The doctor told my mother that we needed fresh air. He said if the temps were above 38 degrees, then bundle us up and take us outside to play for a little while! We didn't get sick as often, and it kept us (and our mom) from going stir-crazy.

Looking forward to seeing the pics!

Okay, now that I have said my peace...Your girls look so cute an cozy all cuddled up on the swing. And I can't believe how much older a mouth full of teeth is making Miss Gabbi look. Too cute!
