We decided Sunday evening that I would get them all dressed and ready for a little indoor swimming. That meant swimmy diapers, bathing suits, cover ups, and a full barrage of necessities in a diaper bag for our trip.
Annnnnnd, it meant loading up a wagon and keeping three little toddlers content and manageable for about an hour prior to getting all of this orchestrated!
We loaded up and went to the indoor pool only for them to tell us that someone had thrown up in the pool about ten minutes earlier and it would be closed for the next ohhhhh, 4 hours! Ugh!
So what the heck. We went outside in the cold and played on the swing! My girls LOVE a swing!
How funny is it that they have on bathing suits and fully hooded cover ups, with....
UGG boots?! Ha. A little weird, I must say.
And we had to use our beach towel as a blanket!
Nonetheless, they were happy girls!
Have I mentioned that JinJin is here too? She was my partner in crime who was going to the big pool with me? She was heading there, but only ONE of us had a bathing suit on! Hmmmm.... I wonder who! I think the other had a novel or something stashed in her bag. And I don't read!
Earlier, during that hour of wait, Todd saw Ellie at the rail and said, "she looks like the boy in the bubble." And so true! SHe wanted so badly to go out to that beach!
And then ol' skinnny butt, Maddi came and joined in on the WISH I COULDin'!
Now,for the big news of the day...
Are you ready for this?
I mean it. Sit down!
Seriously! This is a BIGGIE!!
Most of the time!
She has some big time determination! She falls, gets up. Falls, gets up. Falls, gets up. You get the picture!
And IF I can find a charger for my camera (I think Mary Allison misplaced mine.... It is what you deserve MA, for going "over to the dark side". YES I DID read Lindsay's comments!), then I will post a pic or two of Miss Gabbi Girl grinning EAR to EAR with her ol snaggledy smile when she does walk! She is so proud of herself! And we are so proud of her!!
Until tomorrow! Mo
