We are home! (Jiggety jig!)

I know. I know. Crucify me. A day missed. Sorry!
But, hey... thanks to the TWO new followers of the blog. We are approaching number 500, and THAT person is getting a PRIZE!

Ok, so this is why I am a day late. Yes, indeed. We DO have purple and gold luggage! And by the way, LOTS of it!
This is GABBI's suitcase. Sans any swimsuits or cover ups. They are in another bag!

And then there is ELLIE's that is equally packed. and then there is this little out of control situation!

Yep. This is a situation that is out of control. But, we cannot be without the appropriate bow when in a fashion dilemma!
ANd then we arrived home after about 7 hours in the car. (And a projectile vomiting incident.) Think chunky chocolate milk! Ummm. Ellie went straight to her kitchen set which she has not played with in ages!
You would think these girls had never seen these toys!

I think you have probably seen this toy before, but Gabbi saw it with all new eyes! She Looooovvesss it!
Maybe next time they are getting bored with their toys, we will just go on a road trip for about 3 weeks, and will come home with all new appreciation!
WHAT? Are you reading a book about potty training? Come on, Ellie, you can do it. It is time. Plus, she can't start dancing lessons until she is potty trained. Oooooh, I am looking forward to our time back with Miss Jean. She is the ONLY one who can make this happen.
And already, she is putting together some very unique outfits! A bib as a cape. Smart girl!
and a new toy that must be as fun as a bunch of plastic hangers!
And of course, SHOES! Non-matching. and on the wrong feet!

We will be VERY BUSY this week gearing up for the big Shake 4 Jake event! Hey, come on! Get in the car and come on! More details later this week!

Welcome home! I was starting to get the gitchees. Glad to read you are safe at home, and I am surely hoping you got that stink out of the car. Been there.

I enjoyed lookin at all your beach pictures! Those girls are just too cute! You said something about Ellie can't start dance until she is potty trained...you might start thinking about not giving her a bottle, that would help her potty train. I know that will be hard with Gabby, but she will do it much easier. I'll hush now, that was my two cents. I just love Gabby's smile...don't guess I have ever seen a little smile that much! Just precious!

Soo glad you made it home safely...even with a little chunky choc milk..gag
I have to tell you in the picture of Ellie sitting reading the book, but turned, trying to look behind her, she looks like either A. Todd or B. your nephew, the red head... Hunter maybe...I was just browsing thru the post and that picture just struck me and I was like wow, she looks like Todd and your nephew (I have always thought they resembled one another, wierd I know)...destiny i believe

Purple and gold luggage?! I should have known!! Click on over to my blog and see where my niece is going to college - LSU!! I just did a blog on her high school graduation and included a picture when she visited LSU in the spring and made her decision to head to Baton Rouge, all the way from Denton, Texas! She doesn't know a soul and is going a long way from home - just knows she wants to go to LSU!!

I will miss your beach posts! You did get some beautiful photos! I can see Ellie's little suntan! Welcome home!

Welcome home! Unpacking is never fun, but it drives me NUTS until I get it done. I usually start unpacking the minute I get home. OCD? ME? Nawwww....LOL

I used to put away lots of toys and bring them out one or two at a time. I'd always put another one up when I'd get one out. It worked great! The kids enjoyed them more, and it was much less mess to keep picked up!

Projectile chocolate vomit, huh? Ugh...we had an incident one time when Billy (our oldest) was 2 yrs. We were driving back home from visiting my parents. Billy threw up Spaghetti-O's in the back seat of the van. I was pregnant with Bo at the time, feeling queasy in general. One look at Billy throwing up and I threw up, too....in the front seat. Bill pulled in to the nearest gas station, got us out of the van, and hosed out the entire vehicle. Kinda makes me sick to think about it even NOW...urp!

Good luck with the potty training...keep us posted on that!

Glad that y'all are all home safe and sound. Oh the thoughts of chocolate milk vomit. So glad I read that after I ate my ice cream...LOL.
Love Ellie Sue's tan, and Gabbi Lou's smile.
I am like Beth. I HAVE TO GET ALL UNPACKED IMMEDIATELY. Yes OCD, I recon.
Thanks for sharing, Mo.

God Bless~

Welcome Home!!! Getting home to the "new/old" toys is the BEST! Kids really get excited like they haven't seen their toys before, it's amazing! My son is 6 and still does that when we get home from even a weekend away. Have fun at Shake for Jake. I live in New Jersey, I think that's a little too far to travel for a weekend, but I wish I could come.

I have so enjoyed your time at the beach! Great pics!! I wanted to ask you, we are going to Gulf Shores in July with our best friends with a total of 5 kids between both families and we will be there during my son's 12th bday. And of course I want to go to the Hangout because of all your post about it!! But my question is, in one post I saw a bday cake being brought to the table at the hangout...did you guys bring that or did the Hangout have it? Just wanted to know what to do to have a cake there for my son.
