Jan 1.

I am just totally and completely about to explode with inspiration and excitement with what 2014 is going to bring.  Are you?!  I have spent the whole day thinking about goals.  Using a yearly planner (actually TWO of them), setting my calendar, looking at how I spent my time in 2013 and how I want to spend it in 2014, and just really examining my life in general.  I love that feeling.  I feel like I've had a pretty good 2013.  In fact, it was downright great.  I have such an awful memory that I had to look back at my blog... and yes, I went ALL the way back to January and skimmed every single blog post to see what "biggies" occurred last year.  And here is what I decided made up the weeks of 2013.

Trips/ travel:  Disney World, Tucson Bead Show, Baton Rouge Dance Competition, Canton in the spring and again in the fall (all by myself on that trip!), The Beach Club for 2 weeks in June and again in December with MA, a cruise to Cozumel with friends, and the John Maxwell gig in Orlando.
That's a pretty good travel docket, and believe it or not, because my memory is so horrible, I didn't even realize several of those had occurred this year!!

As for activities:  MMPT Retreat x 2, Mary Allison's prom, first year of tee ball, dance recital, the Easter bunny maze, Ellie's kindergarten graduation, Twilight Sparkles became a Groves, Ana got married, Ellie a princess in Miss LA Pageant, A Chance to Dance, Ellie's 6th bday as the Bohemian Style Show, John Maxwell Conference, Mom and Gabbi Collaborative art was born, NFL draft night, Mary Allison pledged KD, Gabbi had her 5th bday as an art party, EARS PIERCED, Gabbi starts kindergarten, Elllie starts first grade, Duck Dynasty and I contributed jewelry to their store, DeeDee and granddad moved to town, I did some online coaching/ course with Kary Oberunner, kids' art classes were FULL, coached personally for the first time, Batting for Dylan, First art show with my girls, Halloween I had a fox and Merida, Colorfinder 1.0 Retreat was born, Ellie lost her first (and second) tooth, Elaina got engaged and we had a huge party, KK got married, MMPT kids had an art show, Ellie became entrepeneurial with lemonade stands, the Christmas parade, Hysterectomy, cookie decorating, and we rented a new building which I believe will eventually be the headquarters for MoJoy.

WHEW!   That was a busy year!!  And an oh so good one!!  There is so much more I want to do in 2014.  I am overwhelmed really.  Just need to have that person around me who can take my ideas/energy and make sense of it through strategy and putting things into proper steps.  AN arranger, if you are a strengthsfinder kind of gal!

I hope to start my coaching business.  Personal coaching... in person or by phone.  I actually started this last week, and am so excited to see women grow and thrive!  I intend to have more retreats.  I intend to have more classes.  I intend to pour into the leaders of MMPT to help them take my company to the next level as they intuitively feel it should go.  In doing so, they grow.  As long as they remember the "why", the culture, vision, mission of the company should hold true.  I BELIEVE that.  I want to use my years of experience to teach more therapists the tricks and tools that I've used and which have been successful. I want to live in my strength set... Communication, futuristic, Woo, Maximizer, and Ideation.  That is where I am energized and most productive.

I love the GOOD we did this year at MMPT.  The philanthropic activities which are considered the "gravy" but that which makes life good... the art show, the ball tournament, the dance for kids with disabilities.  That is nothing but food for the soul.  It's a gift you give yourself! I hope to do much more of that this year.

I want to go 1000%.  Although some feel that is "unhealthy"... that is how I function best.  It makes me feel alive.  I'd like to take a little more time for personal pampering this year... that being hair color, nails painted, exercise, reading books that feed my soul, and doing art for ME.  And I want to travel with my family and take my mom on a bucket list trip of her choosing.

I have a lot of planning and dreaming and implementing to do for MoJoy.  I envision an product line.  I envision online courses, kits mailed all over the country, artwork turned into reproducable, inspirational product.  I want to take my retreats on the road.  I want that dadgum Airstream!!  And then, I want to haul it to cities around the country where women congregate to be inspired, work on their goals, and learn to break them down into palatable bites.

I look forward to 2014 with zeal.  And that is why I am announcing my word of the year as...EXPLORE.  As my friend, Suzy said, "I'm gonna EXPLORE in Twenty one four."

Are y'all ready?  Let's do this!

MO

Wow...you've had an amazing year! I'm so excited to see what you do next. Don't take that Airstream to the cities, though...you gotta drive up to my little town, and EXPLORE the Appalachian Mountains of SW Virginia! ;-)

Wow! I have followed you since I met and fell in love (cyber style) with little Jake. You have always inspired me and I am definitely interested in your coaching classes. I love how you invite us all in through your blog and I know who "MA" is and things like that. I have purchased some of your art and love it. If I didn't live so far from you I would come to an art retreat or class. Actually, if I didn't live so far from you I think we would be great friends. You help guide me when Mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and I will never forget it. You are a warm, kind and loving person. I'm anxious to watch 2014 with you Miss Thang! You are also a phenomenal aunt and sister. I'm older than you but I want to be just like you when I grow up!! Happy New Year, Mo!! Love, Susan
