Epcot Day 1 Breakfast with the Princesses

And this is where it all began!! Cracks me up that a couple of you said I should have a reality TV show about my life, because, well, I hired a personal assistant, Robin, to help me keep my sanity, with the clinics, marketing, my retreats, art classes, my kids' extra curricular activities, etc, and... after a month of working with me, she SERIOUSLY said the very same thing!! Ha.. And THAT, my friends, is a run on sentence!!
So, here are my beautiful princesses up BRIGHT and EARLY to go and have breakfast with the princesses!!
We choose the breakfast at Epcot. Because we were booked for the 8:30 dining, we had to leave the house around 7:30. Fast forward midday and no nap, and wellllll, you'll see!!
I just LOVE that the minute you enter the gates of any Disney resort, the girls are greeted by, "Well, hello Princess!". And they seem to be just itching to give you something or do something for you! It's a CULTURE! I have been reading a lot about the culture of an organization or business lately. You know who else has a great culture? Chik Fil A. And MMPT. Just sayin!

We stopped to take a picture just inside the park, and see that guy waaaaay back there over Ellie's shoulder?! Well, when we passed hiim, he made his way, tiptoeing through rows of violas to pick and hand a couple of tiny purple blooms to my girls. He said, "Just for you, princesses." See? I LOVE THAT!!
I packed a whole suitcase of dresses, and today, Ellie chose to be Tiana, and Gabs was Rapunzel!
They were given stickers at the front entrance, and again by the guy who was renting the carts. So nice! And that's why Mr. Walt flourished!! Giving!! Karma! Bless, and you will be blessed!

Hey, Breanna, you looking? Check out the CROWD!! Hahahaha. I know, I know. It was early yet. But, people, let me just say. THIS is the time of year to go to Disney. We also parked on ROW ONE!! We were literally 75' from the entrance.
Oh, wow. NOW the crowd's really picking up! Hahaha
Breanna sent me a picture when they were there for New Year's and said, "So, you've never seen Epcot like this, huh?" And they were shoulder to shoulder.
Nope, I haven't Bre. Rather, we get front row Joe for all the highlights. I know with Ellie Sue starting kindergarten this year, I may have to rethink next year's visit, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

At the princess breakfast, there is always one princess who is set up to take the "professional" portrait that comes with the breakfast. Today, lucky for Miss Gabs, it was Belle.
Gabbi was completely and totally enamored!
Ellie was a little more, "mehh". You know, she is all about Rhianna, or coming down with Bieber Fever, or shopping at Justice! Ha. She's the ripe old age of four after all. (Look at Gabbi. That is just what her pics looked like last year. She can't quit looking at her!)

And this is a theme you will see throughout the week's pictures. Gabbi hugging.... EVERYONE!! Here she is hugging Aurora.
And then staring lovingly at her!
Ellie, "mehh".
Ellie is thinking, "Do you know Everyday I'm shuffling." NO? Well, let me just move along then!

The parade began and they asked the kids to come and meet the nearest princess for the processional. Ariel just happened to be beside our table.
Gabbi latched on and refused to let go. She got to lead the whole parade.
Ellie wouldn't even partake. Does that surprise you a bit? It did me. She, who loves so to entertain, wouldn't greet or talk to any of the princesses or characters. She just kinda hung out near her mama.
Gabbi, on the other hand, would've gone "under the sea" with her if she'd have let her.

This is Ellie anticipating another princess coming to the table. Can you see her excitement!? Todd's too!! Sorry, dad. That's the price you pay to be a girl daddy!!
WHAT?!! Snow White?!??

Let the hugging commence! Snow White probably did the best, of this group, of staying in character! I like it when they talk in their high-pitched princessy voices.
And look at her expressions.
Ellie, "mehh".
Gabbi: "I love you and want to go and live with you and the dwarfs!"
Oh yeah, and one more thing....
At least Ariel was trying to get my kid to eat a healthy breakfast. And can you see her response?

I pretty much liked Ariel too. I like it when they realy take their roles "seriously" and make it special for the little princesses.
And for the grand finale..... ONE MORE HUG!!
Pretty great breakfast overall. I highly recommend it!! And I think it was fun for the girls to be dressed in their princess dresses too. More on Epcot tomorrow. Gonna be a long week of adventure!

Travelling to Orlando

Okay. I have them all loaded up and ready to share!! Sit back. This may take a while!! I had 643 pictures from our trip. Oh, don't worry. I have broken them down to about a week of posts, and today's is only about the travelling TO "Norlando". (Ellie cannot be corrected to Orlando... she knows EVERYthing!)
I love me some Southwest!! Todd and I drove two hours to Jackson, MS, just so we could get the straight shot flight to Orlando. And because it was Southwest, we got to choose our seats. We lucked up and got three togehter and mine right across the aisle from them.

I think Gabs may just end up being my travelling buddy someday. She loved every minute of it!!

She would say, "We bout to take off, mama". And, "No more grass, mama. We are in the clouds." She hasn't flown since she was 6 months old, so I was surprised at how well she did and how much she understood of the whole process.

She was just an old pro at travelling.

They both did pretty well. Linda Lou had just given them cool backpacks for Christmas, so they were both loaded down with "just in case" activities to keep them preoccupied.

Neither one of them ever even tapped those activities, though, because they both had headphones and electronic devices!!

If you don't have a small child these days, let me just be the one to tell you... they were BORN INTO the electronic age, so they know straight up how to operate an ipad, iphone, get apps, download music, search itunes, watch cartoons, etc. Or at least Ellie does!!

Robin loaded all the Max and Ruby cartoons onto my ipad, so Gabs had something to keep her preoccupied during the flight.

Ellie was either rocking it out to Justin Bieber, Adele, Rhianna, or Katie Perry. Those are her current favorites. It is HYSTERICAL watching her deal with all her musical selections!!

It was an awesome day for travel!!

And once we arrived, I thought it was just the cutest thing having my teeny tots wait for their luggage at the carousel like they knew what was up!!

Ellie in her pink Northface backpack!

And Gabs sporting that cute purple hat and refusing to let us carry all the luggage. She pulled this one.

Even though it looked bigger than her, it was actually pretty light. It was full of princess dresses for them to wear to the parks or to entertain the grandparents with at night at home.

They were turning some heads as they strolled through that airport like they owned the place!!

If you are my Facebook friend, you likely saw this photo. I thought it was so precious!!

And so, we made it nice and early and problem free last Saturday. Flash forward a week, and buddy, I have a whole, whole bunch of memories to post on here. Stay tuned!!

It was nothing if not an adventure!!
