Ellie in her make up.

Things were quiet for ooooohhh... about 5 minutes. And when that happens, GO FIND ELLIE! And sure enough, she was in my make up bag. And she was sooooo proud of the fact that she had put on "iscara". She refused to wear it at her dance recital when wearing it would've actually been ok.

But tonight, she had gone in full, with eye shadow, several layers of lip glosses, and iscara. She was quite proud of the masterpiece which was her face!

So much so that she even let me take her picture. In fact, when I told her I needed better light because all my pictures were blurry, she said, "Let's go outside.". And that's where we got all of these....

Here we goooooo... hang on!! And welcome to my world!

and suddenly, the show was over! ????

and all was right with the world!

Ellie is so much fun!! She reminds me of my Amanda. I adopted Amanda (and her brother) when she was 5 after being in foster care with me. She was such the diva. I think my funniest story with her was when she had me buy her black jeans, she picked out the black jeans to wear to school, yet the next morning she sat on the toilet crying hysterically with black jeans on the floor as she just could NOT wear them as they were UGLY. She is now 15 and exactly the same personality as age 5. She is very entertaining and keeps me laughing. I will say she did dance, gymnastics, Volleyball, but her favorite sport is makeup and changing clothes. Can that be a sport you letter in?? Keep enjoying! It only gets better. Have a great day. Tracey :-)

She's really into the posing. She better watch it or she might dislocate her hip! LOL She's rocking the makeup and quite pleased with herself. Got to love her!

How cute! That little white skirt reminds me of the commercial where the dad wipes his dirty hands on his teen daughter's little what skirt.

Just love Ellie and all her poses! Her personality just shows through in everything she does. I'm amazed by your polar opposites in your girls. That's what makes life so special though. Can't get over the make-up and grown up way of dressing. That 'Big Kid' idolizing is very apparent with her. Could it be all those amazing babysitters and adorable neighbor girls rubbing off on her.

What a beauty!! She did a great job with the make up. By the time she's 4, she'll be a real pro. The poses crack me up. She's definitely headed for the modeling runway. Keep those pictures coming. They brighten my day and make me SMILE!!

That Ellie is too precious!! No dull and gloomy days with Ellie around. Hope Gabbi is feeling better. I think our cheerleaders (Ascension Catholic in Donaldsonville LA) are down there for camp this week. Just heard they came out first at camp. We are proud!!!
I envy your three week vacations -- never could get away for that long. Enjoy every moment with those precious babies -- they won't be babies for long.

I am curious.. do you keep every picture you take? Or maybe just put them on the blog and then delete? Otherwise your computer must be FULL of precious pictures!
