First cousins. BFF's!

This is what I saw out my window this past weekend! ALLLLLL the way from Staci's house!
I couldn't resist but to go grab my camera to capture it. Coughing and all!
They are good buddies.... MOST of the time!
Today was one such day! ANd I am glad I captured it for future reference! "See how much you used to love each other?!"
Teenage years may drive Staci and I to drinking! But, it will be a fun ride nonetheless!!

You're welcome! (I am taking credit for LSU's win because not 30 seconds after I sat down to watch the Tigers scored their 1st TD of the nite!) I looked for y'all in the stands, but didn't see ya'. I hope y'all enjoy all your time here in Texas and wish you safe travels home.

Oh my goodness! With Ellie's hair just pulled to the side like that and clipped, she looks so much older! I love her hair down and slowly but surely it is growing into the long "do" Ellie has been longing for! The color of her outfit looks fantastic on her too!

Precious is the word that quickly came to mind when looking at today's pictures - holding hands all the way across the yards.....and you are right - you can use those as evidence about their love for each other when they have that 1st fight over the same boy they both like!!

I can't wait to see them as teenagers and it will be here long before you are ready. You need to find your smiling Gabbi a BFF too ~ that is is she leaves your hip long enough to have one ~ you are blessed - I always wanted a hip baby but instead had 2 wide open independent like Ellie. I'm pretty slack about commenting but I do check every morning because your posts always bring a smile to me! Have a great weekend. Becky

In our family there are eight first cousins...all my siblings kids. They LOVE each other, truly love each other and are the best of friends. Most are college age, one graduated and on her own, another set to head to college next year, three in highnschool. I always thought that each stage of their life was the BEST. So loved the little baby and toddling years. Adolescents was fun. I always wondered what happens when they are older? What happens when they are driving, have friends of their own, get that first taste of collegiate freedom? Would they always have so
much fun together, laugh together, have similar interests when the draw of young adult life pulls them so far from our little family nest? You know what? They love each other even more. They are genuine friends, as if they picked one another, sought each other out. Our oldest boys are different as night and day, Just 5 days apart in age, they have always shared birthday parties and comparisons, not by choice, by necessity and design. They go to colleges three thousand miles away and Skype each other every day. All my kids, all eight of them are the most fun right now. I am the luckiest Auntie on the planet! See what you have to look forward to Mo.

P.S. I have emailed you a couple of times...not trying to harass and am kn no hurry. I just want to be sure you got my emails and didn't think I had ignored the kindnesss of creating my talisman...I am so excited!
