Too tired to type!

Between working on this....
Dealing with this.....
And picking up and holding this.....
I am ONE TIRED MAMA!!

I mean, my legs hurt, my feet hurt, my hips are killing me! I don't think I could take one more step today! We have been doing sun up to sun down moving for the past three days. And tomorrow, we go again! I am exhausted! They aren't done with the house, but I am done waiting. I have got a case of the itchy butt, so in I go! We have spent the past three days there, and every night I am terribly sore. It dawned on me today that there isn't a single chair in the house yet, so there's no second of the day that I am sitting. No wonder!!

I'll post better tomorrow!

I'm sorry to hear that you are so tired. Moving is stressful when a house is completely finished, final walktru&cleaned so I can't imagine moving in w/o that all done. Hire some crews woman...give a girl a break! Let Todd&his friends doing the moving...you do the primping. You work way too hard.

Ooh! It is finally happening! I know just what you mean. We waited patiently for about three weeks while some work was done on this house after we bought it. Then, I was over there one day, and the MBR was finished, and I went to the house we were going to sell, loaded up the truck with boxes, called the local furniture store and asked them to deliver the new MBR furniture ASAP, and they said they'd get it to us that afternoon! So, we moved it. Slept there! We never spent a night in the old house.

It was so much easier getting the old house ready to sell, too. Everything was out of it, and the people came in and could paint, spiff up the hardwood floors, and not have to go room by room and move furniture around. We could even easily paint the closets!

Tired? Oh, yeah. But it was worth it. I can only imagine trying to get this done with two little girlies. Stick some stamps on their heads and drop them in the mail. Send them up here. We will play and learn all kind of rude noises.

Take care of yourself, Mo. Get some rest!

I so love your blog !!! I noticed your picture of the fireplace one pillar is upside down. Ones up and ones down not sure if that was the way it's supposed to be normally they are identical to the other one. And i got a good tip for all those tiles your husband is collecting you can use them as coasters just put felt on the bottom so they won't scratch furniture or counters. Makes a great coversation piece of the places he collected them from. Your daughers are so precious i have two teenagers and yep one just went to college and yep the teenage years are going pretty Good and we are really blessed that they have done so well and yes it's hard to let go when they go away. You still worry a bit. Trying to let them spread there wings a bit and not smother them it's a bit hard not too at times. Take care of yourself and those precious babies. Thank you for sharing your family. I hope to share mine with you. Sending Love from pennsylvania. Make sure you get your rest too!!!! Momma's sure do need it.
God bless,
Tina Gayman

Oh Mo ~ I wish I lived closer, I would take your two girlies out for the day & you & Todd could go to town on the new house. I REALLY wish I could help.
Moving is just so hard, no matter how you do it. It will be worth it.
Have a wonderful day,
Diana from Colorado

Oh, my - moving in....that is great - the house will be completed whether you are in or not and being in there is probably better - a little inconvenient but you are ready for it. Just take it easy - you have a lifetime to set it right!
