Green beans are GROSS!

Uhhhhhhh.... Guess who DOES NOT like green beans!!
These faces she is making are hilarious to me.  She is like, "Ummm, hello?  This is NOT applesauce, nor bananas!  Get that green stuff AWAY from me."

And then life perks up for my little 7 month old.  (By the way, she turned 7 months yesterday!!)  She got a MumMum.
Staci turned me onto MumMums after I decided I didn't think I could EVER tolerate another Biter Biscuit for my little gumming babies.  That crap is like liquid concrete on their faces.  It is H-E Double hockey sticks to get off!
But MumMums... they are cool!  ANd Gabbi just seems to love them.
I didn't think the kid would ever start using her hands, but now she has, and she is all about little finger feeding crackers.  It is funny, because now Ellie, naturally, has to have all those crackers too, and cannot watch Gabbi eat baby food without thinking she needs to eat a few spoonfuls too.  She didn't need more than one taste of these nasty green beans though.
This little girl is such a delight.  What would we do without her?!  She is so pleasant and special!
Well, off to beddy bye.  We have a big event tomorrow to help my long toed friend, Cindy, celebrate publishing of another 4 books.  Go see Alphakidz.com. This year's theme is a 50's bash.   If you are in town, come on out to the convention center in West Monroe.  We will be the fruitloops in "Mel's Diner".  And I will be the one on skates!

So glad to see you back.........I just kept checking. In my heart I knew you'd be regaling us all with your tales and humor.

I even have my husband reading, he identifies with Todd, especially the childproofing efforts!!!!

Love to see the girls and really missed them. I am amazed at how I identified with someone I've never met in person and have been following you all since Caringbridge days!

Gabby is too cute! I'm so glad that you allow her to eat crackers. I love me some messy baby. My friend refuses to allow Chloe to eat anything messy! I bought one of those mesh bags with the handle for her. She won't let her have it because it's messy. Now I save all of the messy stuff for Aunt Stephie's house. I don't even bother sending it home with her. That's what kitchen sinks are for, right? We'll just have lots of messy fun while she's here.

Do they still make the garden vegetable choice of baby food? Because my boys made some priceless faces when they ate that stuff! It has a variety of veggies in it, including spinach. Yum, yum...

She'll get used to the beans. Just feed her the green beans first, then follow with the fruit. And keep takin' those pics! LOL

My kids never liked the "green" when they were babies...LOL. I love that face Gabbi is making. She is so precious!! It's funny that Ellie wants what Gabbi has. Have a great weekend.

Don't make that poor baby eat pureed green beans. PEAS! Peas are the way to go.

She is SUPER cute! So much personality in that sweet face!

I hope the diner went well last night and I hope the rain held off for Mo in skates!! I need to see that! Did Ellie like green beans? All Bowen would eat for dinner was green beans. I was always afraid she was going to turn that green tint (you know how babies turn orange or green when they eat too many greens or carrots). Those faces Gabbi is making are hilarious. And, oh, yeah.....the heck involved getting those biter biscuits off! Lovin that you're back!

I really want to take the kids to alphafest this year. I thought about the spring market, but since there is a no strollers rule, I can't bring myself to endure the torture. So, maybe I'll see you there!

Green beans are yucky...unless they are fried and have dipping sauce on the side! The event looks like a lot of fun. I wish I lived in the area! Be careful on the skates!

Green Beans were never a fav. of my girls years and years ago. It must be something about that green color or the sweetness of the fruit that they do so love. Oh well, my philosophy was then and still is let them eat what they like; we do :)

One question for ya.. Did YOU try those green beans!?!? LOL Some of those things make my gag reflexes kick in just smelling them! I don't blame a sista one bit for not liking them! I mean.. when a girl can have nana's, peaches or anything else for that fact WHY BOTHER!!?!?

Such a cutie pie!!
She might learn to like green beans when they aren't strained. My sons loved picking up pieces of cooked, cooled green beans when they started on the finger foods.

OMG!!! I am SO GLAD you are back. I have checked and checked your site. I even called Dawn Pierce and said, what is up? I need my Mo fix. My internet has been down for about 4-5 days or I would have been on here before now. I was surprised when you said something about it being two weeks. It felt like a month. Girls look cute as ever. WOO HOO!! You are back.

I always thought when my kids were babies that the green beans smelled like a dirty ashtray. I don't think they look or smell good at all.

As long as you are back logging on the scrapbooking tutorial, I didn't even get started on the Christmas one. It is still sitting in the original box beside the computer/tv area. Please send help!

Baby food green beans are gah-rooosssss! Either drip a little bacon grease in there, or go right to the baby food peas. Oh, our children loved those peas! And, watch out when you get to the carrots. Our babies would growl at us if we weren't shoveling those in quickly enough to suit them.

Our children did love steamed green beans when they were old enough to hold them and eat them.

I was sooo happy to find you back! I Love your family and originally found Jake and you through friends whose daughter had hepatoblastoma. My only problem is that I'm registered under my husband's name, so I feel kind of funny leaving comments. Your kids look beautiful in their white dresses! -jen in MI

gabbi's getting big...I love the CUTE shoes she can wear now!! Elijah refused to eat any vegetable when he was a baby, so I mixed bananas with everything, and he ate it up! I guess it paid off because he likes them now, even broccoli!

OMG--I was going mad about not getting my nightly fix of Gabbi and Ellie....Sorry some folks were being rude about whatever.

I wasn't going to comment, but since when I looked at the clock while reading tonight, and it was 11:11, I guess a certain little sweet Jake was telling me to send his Aunt Mo some bloggie props.

Your pics of Gabby and the green beans brought back memories. The only thing worse than green beans, is baby food spinach.

Gabby is getting cuter every day and Ellie is adorable. Thanks again for bringing back your blog.
